How would you describe the TDP?
“I view it as a really great opportunity. It got me out of the restaurant industry. Got me to move from Ohio to Colorado. Got me to support my wife through college.”
What is the best part about the TDP?
“It’s not a classroom setting. You get to learn as you go. You aren’t tossed to the wolves; you have someone by your back the entire time. You have a corporate office backing you up. There are a ton of resources: I-CAR classes, Toolboxes, Mentorship.”
Why is this work meaningful to you?
“Sense of pride. I’ve always been an artistic type, so I get to take all these types of art, welding, tooling, and I get to work and come up with a finished product that I get to be happy with.”
What is the Technician Development Program?
